Rather than talk some rubbish about the context of the comic, today I'm going to regale you all with a little story of something I saw today, unless you stop reading then the regaling won't happen, but c'mon do you yourself a favour let me regale you...i promise I'll be gentle.
Anyway so here's a story about something I saw when going for a walk today, it was...a man. Admittedly not all that exciting yet but there's more, you see this guy was a bit of a rough chap, had a weathered face a denim jacket with frayed edges and no sleeves, a handlebar moustache with coarse stubble surrounding it and a bandanna holding back his greasy hair, so basically the guy looked like a bit of a mean biker. Now did this guy have a bike? Yes he did. Was this bike a motorcycle? No it wasn't. Was it maybe a pushbike? Yeah it was. Was it in fact a bright bike girls pushbike that looked to be about ten years old? Yes it was my friends, yes it was :D. Now that's a pretty bizarre sighting but it gets better because when I looked to the man's face to determine how he felt about riding a bright pink girls pushbike through suburban Melbourne what I saw was pure joy. Upon seeing this blissful, smiling look on this guys face...I kinda wanted my own bright pink girls pushbike! This guy looked so incredibly happy that I think the only thing that could of made him any happier was if the pushbike had a basket attached to it. So I guess the moral of the story is life's what you make of it and if a rough and tough biker can ride a pretty pink pushbike and get the same feeling as if he's riding the gruntiest Harley, imagine what you can make of your life.
Enjoy
Damian :D
