OMG Comic
Now I used OMG in the title because this comic involves these sorts of texting abbreviations. Now for those of you who don't know what these mean I'll give you a simple run down of them. The aforementioned OMG means Oh My God, so this one, obviously, is a religious one and is good when you only have time for a quick pray, for example 'OMG let me make it to the toilet in time'. Next up we have G2G which stands for Got To Go, this one makes clever use of a number,2, being used for a word which sounds the same, to. Other examples of this include 'let's go out 4 tea', 'I just 8 a rabbit' and 'I want to 6 you'...with that last one needing a bit of imagination. The last one I'll include is LOL, which is the abbreviation of Laugh Out Loud. This one I have a bit of a personal problem with, mainly because I think people abuse it. It means laugh out loud, so if you do use it you should be actually laughing out loud. But most of the time it's used on sentences that aren't even funny, I've received messages like 'I'm down the street lol'. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! Are you down the street just insanely laughing your head off? I doubt it. Get control of yourself ppl (that one means people).
