The Cartoonist: He...and by he, I mean I, go by many names. D train, The big D, Damalicious, Dam-a-lame-a-ding-dong, the great one, He who shall be named, moustache man (that one always confused me as I don't have a moustache), Mr Robb, Dr Robb, The Doc, Sir Robb, hey you over there...no not you the other guy...no the one next to the...Yes you!, Jonathan, The Captain, Mr Mighty...and on occasion, Damian.
I was born in a distant land some call Oggaboggalooloo, but I prefer to call Australia. Growing up I always felt a little alone, except for when my twin brother Jonathan was around...which was always, so I never really felt alone growing up. I was mostly a normal child, sure I'd sometimes disappear into the forests for weeks at a time and then return naked, dirty and with that faint musk of someone who's been living in a rabbit hole, but then who among us can honestly say they haven't...and if anyone does say they haven't they are a filthy, dirty, sexy, liar.
As I grew I learnt many things, to walk, to talk and the correct way to wear pants, so I suppose you could say high school taught me a lot. Of course I did eventually finish high school and walked out of there with my head held high and my pants on correctly. For a year after that I worked as a jack of all trades also known as a 'handyman', but mostly I was a painter. I then moved onto other things, Mount Everest, Iraq, Rhino hunting...I learnt to spell all these words while attending university. It was while I was at uni that I first started making comics. My brother was writing articles for his university magazine and they needed someone to contribute comics for it, he asked me and I told him to 'Piss off'. I quickly apologised for my outburst and blamed it on PMS, and then told him I'd love to do it. Which I did, and while only a few issues of that magazine were released I found I quite liked making comics and decided to continue to do so. That brings us to today, where I now have two great loves in my life; writing exaggerated descriptions of my life, and making comics.
Guest Comics: The guest comics are, as the name suggests, comics made by guests. They willcome from anyone I deem funny and have a good idea for their own comic, and because it's fun to make comics. It's also great because it allows other comics on my site that have a different style and feel from my own. And if anyone one out there reading this wants to submit there own guest comic, I'd love to have them on my page. You can use my characters or make up some of your own, whatever you want really, just send them to damianrobb@middaypyjamas.com
Blogs: The blogs will basically be me writing about something or other, whatever it is I'm musing over at the time, whilst trying to be funny. I'll release one every Monday in an attempt to cure that Monday Madness...or induce it, whatever.
The Extra Page: The extra page has extra things. Basically it's a place for me to put up extra things that I think you guys might be interested in.
